To correct roundness of a pipe material at an arbitrary width in an axial direction.
A pipe material correction device includes a ring-shaped casing 2 disposed on an outer peripheral surface of a pipe material T and an inner peripheral side roller 3 abutted on an inner peripheral surface of the pipe material T. An outer peripheral side roller is brought into pressure contact with the casing 2 so as to rotate the casing 2 and the pipe material T by making them interlocked with each other. A pair of hydraulic jacks 30 are provided to incline the pipe material T by an inclined angle θ in plan view with respect to axes C2 and C3 of the casing 2 and the inner peripheral side roller 3 at a position away from the inner peripheral side roller 3 on the outer peripheral surface of the pipe material T. The casing 2 and the pipe material T are rotated by the outer peripheral side roller, thereby moving the inclined pipe material T in an axial direction while rotating and widening a correction region of the pipe material T which is brought into pressure contact by the inner peripheral side roller 3 and the casing 2 by displacing the correction region in the axial direction while forming the correction region in a peripheral direction.
