Abstract:

PURPOSE: To omit almost all of removal work of residual air and galvanizing liquid in a galvanizing treatment process.
CONSTITUTION: A pipe 1 with a same diametrical flange joint is constituted by fastening a joint 3 on an end part of a pipe main body 2. An outside diameter of the joint 3 is equal to an outside diameter of the pipe main body 2, an outside diameter is smaller than an inside diameter of the pipe main body 2 at an outside end 5 and is roughly equal to the inside diameter of the pipe main body 2 at an inside end 9. A plural number of recessed parts 4 are formed on an outer periphery of the joint 3, and a bolt insertion hole 6 in the axial direction is formed between an end surface 11 of each of the recessed parts 4 and an outside end 5 of the joint 3. A small exhaust hole 7 passing in the radial direction through to the inner peripheral side of the joint 3 is formed in each of the recessed parts 4. An exhaust groove 8 extending in the axial direction positioned in the middle of the adjoining recessed parts 4, 4 and deep enough to almost reach an inner peripheral surface of the pipe main body 2 is formed on the inner peripheral side of the coupler 3. Air or galvanizing liquid is easily exhausted from the exhaust groove 8 or the small exhaust hole 7 in a galvanizing process.
