Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the new compounds useful as anxiolytic agents and as agents having other psychotropic properties.
CONSTITUTION: The compound of formula I [R1 and R2 are each H, halogen, CF3, 1-4C alkoxy (except for the case which both are H) or link together with adjacent C to form bridge of formula III (n is 1 to 3); R3 is H or 1-4C alkyl; R4 and R5 are each H, 1-4C alkyl or phenyl; Y is N or CH; Ar is heteroaryl, unsubstituted phenyl or formula III (X and X' are each halogen, NO2, NH2, carboxamide, 1-4C alkyl, 1-4C alkoxy, 1-4C haloalkyl, 1-4C alkylthio or link each other to form formula II; p and q are each 0 to 5 and (p+q)≤5)] or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt, e.g. Z-1-(1,3-benzodioxol-5- yl)-4-[4-(phenylmethyl)-1-piperidinyl]cyclohexanol.
