Abstract:
To obtain new compound useful for treating and curing especially asthma.
This compound is shown by formula I [(i) and (j) are each 1 or 2; (n) is 1, 2 or 3; n' is 1, 2 or 3; A and A' are each H, etc.; X is O, CO, etc.; R2 and R3 are each H, a halogen, etc.; U is a group of formula II (R3 to R7 are each H, a halogen, etc.; R8 is H, an alkyl, etc.)] such as β-(3,4- dichlorophenyl)-4-hydroxyl-N-methyl-N,4-diphenyl-1-piperidinepentanamide. A composition obtained by including the compound in an amount effective for neurokinin antagonism and a pharmacologically permissible carrier can be administered to a mammal for treating a chronic respiratory tract disease such as asthma or allergy, an inflammatory disease, a central nerve system disease, a gastrointestinal injury, a circulatory disease, etc.
