PURPOSE: To provide novel compds. which have antiphlogistic action and antiallergic action, have low toxicity and good recognition property and are useful as antiphlogistic and antiallergic medicines.
CONSTITUTION: The compds. of formula I [X, Y are O, S; R1 is H, a lower alkyl; R2 is H, a halogen, etc.; R3 is H, a lower alkoxy, etc.; (n) is 0 to 4; R4, R5 is H and R5 is H, cyano, etc., or in the formula, R4, R5 form a bond together; R6 is A-R7-group (R7 is a phenyl substd. with a halogen, etc., unsubstd. phenyl; A is -CH2-, -CO-, etc.), formula II (R8 is a halogen)] and their salts; for example, 2-[3-(4-benzylpiperidine-1-yl)-prpyl]-2H-1,4-benoxazin-3(4H) one. The compds. of the formula I in which Y is 0 are obtd. by bringing the compd. of formula III (R2' is R2; L is a group separable by aminolysis) into reaction with the compd. of formula IV preferably in a aprotic solvent, such as arom. hydrocarbon at the boiling temp. of the solvent.
