Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a piston ring capable of being used for a large two-cycle engine having the minimum blowby gas quantity in addition to prevention of abnormal abrasion and breakage of a cut gap part of a piston ring.
CONSTITUTION: A triangular-chamfered outer face 18 having a dimension e in an inside direction and a dimension 1 in a circumferential direction respectively from an intersection point D is formed on peripheral face 14 on the upper face side of a slantly cut gap 12.
