Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a pitch changing method capable of changing arrangement pitch of objects such as IC packages into different pitch.
CONSTITUTION: A comb teeth shape plate 2 is fixed to an X-Y stage 3, and is installed so that the comb teeth shape plate 2 can move in the X-Y direction on a plate 4. Pitch P1 of comb teeth of the comb teeth shape plate 2 is set in desirable pitch dimension as the pitch is expected to be changed. IC packages I are placed between the comb teeth 5, and by moving the comb teeth shape plate 2 in the X-Y direction by means of the X-Y stage 3, the IC packages can be aligned in the X-Y direction.
