Abstract:
PURPOSE: To add a durable braking mechanism by improving a pivot type hinge.
CONSTITUTION: A pair of hinge plates (A) 12 and (B) 13 are combined with each other closely in the arrow direction of (a), and engaged with each other rotatably to each other around a virtual axis X. Also a split short cylindrical guide member 14 is fixed to one hinge plate (B) 13, and an inner periphery guide member 15 made in contact slidably with the inner peripheral surface of the split short cylindrical guide member 14 and a brake shoe 16 made in contact slidably with the outer peripheral surface of it are installed on the other hinge plates (A) 12. Then the brake shoe 16 is pressed against the split short cylindrical guide member 14 through a back metal 17 by multiple detachable coil springs of which spring constants are different from each other (hidden in the figure and stored in a shoe holder 18).
