Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the misoperation of a lever operating screw in a pivot shaft operating device.
SOLUTION: This pivot shaft operating device is provided with a pivot hole 2 formed in an entrance door 1; a fixed body 4 fixed to an entrance frame 3; a pivot shaft 5 allowed to go in and out of the pivot hole from the fixed body side; a slide hole 6 formed in the fixed body to support the pivot shaft slidably; a lever 7 connected to the pivot shaft and supported to the fixed body; and a lever operating screw 8 screwed with the fixed body to project the pivot shaft into the pivot hole through the lever when screwed into the fixed body and to detach the pivot shaft outward from the pivot hole through the lever when screwed outward from the fixed body. A locking means 30 is provided for locking a lever operating screw into a proper position when the lever projects the pivot shaft into the pivot hole by the operation of the lever operating screw.
