Title:
PLANAR ARRAY ANTENNA DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3816471
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar array antenna device by which a sufficient beam scan angle can be obtained.
SOLUTION: Micro strip lines 50A-50F have the same lengths and are nearly perpendicular to a slot line 40 at the same intervals. Radiating elements 81A-81F, 82A-82F are connected to both ends of the micro strip lines 50A-50F. Each of the micro strip lines 50A-50F reduces impedance from a crossing part with the slot line 40 to the radiating elements 81A-81F or 82A-82F. Each of phase-shifter circuits 90A-90J is connected to the slot line 40 at a position of nearly λ1/4 from the crossing point of the slot line 40 with the micro strip lines 50A-50F. λ1 is the wavelength of a signal in the slot line 40. The phase-shifter circuits 90A-90J change phases of the signals by control voltages from control terminals 130, 140.
