PURPOSE: To make this heater usable for indoor warming and to make it endurable to a bending operation by forming a filmy layer of carbon materials on a surface part of a quartz plate or a non-woven fabric and next forming conduction parts on both right-and-left or back-and-forth side parts of this filmy layer.
CONSTITUTION: A filmy layer 3 of carbon materials is formed on a surface of a quartz plate 1 which composes a planar heater (a). Conduction parts 5 are adhered to the right-and-left side parts of this layer 3. An Al foil plate 7 is stuck on a rear part of the quartz plate 1 of the heater (a) composed above. Further, a heat-resisting synthetic resin film is stuck on the whole surface of the layer 3 and the conduction parts 5. A non-woven fabric of elasticity may be used instead of the quartz plate 1. Hence the heater can be hung closely on an indoor wall surface, and also indoor air can be warmed by making a small current flow at all times. Even if this heater is bent, its shape is returned soon to its original planar one so that heat-generating function is not damaged.
