Abstract:
To provide a planar light source device in which breakage or slippage of arrangement position of point light sources are prevented even when the point light sources mounted on a light source substrate receive a stress from the outside, and a work for assembly or the like is not caused, and a display device.
A metal member 5 formed of metal is formed on a mounting surface 4a of the point light sources 1 of the light source substrate 4, which is a wiring pattern 12 for supplying power to the point light sources 1. The metal member 5 is mounted so that its height H may be higher than the height h from the mounting surface 4a of the point light sources 1.
