Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a plane type heating device, hardly slipped out of a set place even when the device is used on a mat, carpet and the like, preventing the disconnection of heat generating wires due to creases and improved in the safety property as well as handling convenience, by a method wherein the whole of rear surface of a heat insulating material is coated with slip-preventing resin so as to be scattered uniformly substantially.
CONSTITUTION: A heat generating wire 5 is arranged between a heat insulating material 2, consisting of needle punch nonwoven fabrics, and a surface material 4 to bond them integrally. The rear surface of the heat insulating material 2 is coated with slip-preventing resin (methyl methacrylate/butadiene copolymer and the like, for example) so as to be scattered uniformly on the whole surface substantially. The area, coated with the slip-preventing resin 3, is 8% of the total area while the uncoated part is specified so as not to exceed the area range of diameter 50mm in any part of the heat insulating material 2. According to this method, the plane type heating device will never be slipped even when the device is used on a slippery wooden material, vinyl tile and the like, the device is hardly slipped even when the device is used on a mat, carpet and the like, the disconnection of heating wires 5 due to creases can be prevented and the property of safety as well as the handling convenience thereof can be improved.
