Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planetary roller type power transmission device capable of prolonging a grease lifetime by reducing the amount of grease flowing out without changing the magnitude of a transmission torque and the axial length of the device.SOLUTION: A planetary roller type power transmission device including a fixed ring 2 mounted and fixed in a housing 1, a sun shaft 3 arranged coaxially inside the fixed ring 2, a plurality of planetary rollers 4 interposed between the fixed ring 2 and the sun shaft 3 in a press-contact state, a carrier 5 rotatably supporting the planetary rollers 4, a pair of flange rings 8,9 supported on end faces 2a, 2b of the fixed ring 2 on both end sides of the planetary rollers 4 to restrict the planetary rollers 4 from moving axially, and grease reservoir grooves 2c, 2d provided to both axial ends of the fixed ring 2 includes first groove parts 41a, 41b having grooves provided to the end faces 4a, 4b of the planetary rollers 4 and second groove parts 81b, 91b having grooves provided to side faces 8b, 9b of the flange rings 8, 9 opposed to the end faces 4a, 4b.
