Title:
PLANETARY FRICTION TRANSMITTING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3486210
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a planetary friction transmitting device which generates no seizure by a heating resulting from a slip between the members in the device, even though a variation of rotation frequency by an irregular input source is generated.
CONSTITUTION: In a planetary transmitting device in which plural planetary rollers 2 journalled to planetary frames, which are circumscribed to a solar roller 1 to transmit a driving force by the friction, and inscribed to a ring roller 9, a means to detect the rotation frequency of the solar roller 1 to be the input side is provided. When it is detected that the rotation frequency of the input side is started to rotate at a frequency other than a specific frequency by the detecting means, means 12 and 15 to rotate the ring roller 9 from the external side are provided, and the ring roller 9 is rotated in the direction and at the frequency to reduce the sliding speed difference between the solar roller 1, the planetary rollers 2, and the ring roller 9, so as to prevent a seizure by the slippage between the solar roller 1, the planetary rollers 2, and the ring roller 9.
