Abstract:
PURPOSE: To maintain a normal force between the planetary roller and the sun roller of a planetary roller type power transmission device and a ring roller constantly at a given value and to facilitate regulation of a normal force in such a state that a device is left assembled.
CONSTITUTION: The outer peripheral surface of a sun roller 5 and the inner peripheral surface of a ring roller 6 are respectively formed in the shape of the truncated cone of a crown, and the outer peripheral contact surfaces of a planetary roller 1 on the front side and a planetary roller 2 on the rear side, into which a planetary roller 30 is axially divided, are lowered toward an inner edge and form taper surfaces 1a and 2b inclined in directions opposite to each other. By fastening a fastening nut 4 and moving the planetary roller 1 on the front side and the planetary roller 2 on the front side in such a manner to make access with each other along an axial direction, and the taper surfaces 1a and 2b are brought into pressure contact with the conical surfaces 5a and 5b of the solar roller 5 and the conical surfaces 6a and 6b of the ring roller 6.
