In this planking for protecting which is laid down on the ground at construction sites and event sites, a laminate is formed of a hard layer which is made of polyvinyl chloride and a soft layer softened by adding a plasticizer to the polyvinyl chloride of the hard layer, and the hard layer is disposed on the upper surface of the soft layer.
