Abstract:
PURPOSE:To correct the magnification for a photographic picture subject to layout with high operability by using a magnification variable means and approaching the displayed magnification of photographic picture information gradually to an object magnification while being varied sequentially stepwise. CONSTITUTION:An input means 33 picks up a square print and when the magnification designation represented in a menu section is picked up, a magnification variable means 1b displays a picture being 1/2 of the object display magnification in response to the object display magnification inputted from the input means 33 and then displays a picture being 2/3 multiple of the object display magnification. Then the object displayed magnification is displayed sequentially as n/(n-1) multiple (n is a positive integer) and the photographic picture is displayed while being magnified in a fine pitch even near the object display magnification. Thus, the photographic picture is displayed while being magnified in an optimum magnification near the object display magnification.
