Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a planographic printing plate for back exposure high it sensitivity and excellent in ink/water responsiveness, contamination resistance by silver complex salt diffusion transfer process.
CONSTITUTION: In the planographic printing plate for back exposure made by successively applying at least one of an under coating layer, a silver halide emulsion layer and a physical development nuclear on a supporting body, which is a polyester film coated with an organic copolymer and treated for hydrophilicity, sum of transmitting density of each constituting layer, through which light is passed when exposing from back side, is ≤0.8, a mat making agent of 0.1-2.0g/m2 is contained in a coating layer of surface side containing the silver halide emulsion layer, a non-expansive latex to water is contained in the under coating layer and center line av. roughness, Ra value, of the planographic printing plate is regulated to ≤1.2.
