To promote the growth of a plant and stably perform a biological control such as disease injury control even in an open system in the culture of a plant by continuously or intermittently supplying a specific microorganism to soil for the culture of a plant.
A beneficial microorganism (e.g. Agrobacterium paspali) is continuously or intermittently supplied to soil for the culture of a plant. The supply of the beneficial microorganism to the soil can be carried out by the drip-watering of an aqueous solution containing the microorganism or the supply of a liquid fertilizer containing the microorganism. The microorganism is supplied in such a manner as to keep the content of the microorganism in the soil over a prescribed level throughout the culture period of the plant.
