PURPOSE: To obtain a plant growth promoting agent extremely effective for the growth of various plants such as crops and lawn and the disinfecting, insect- proofing, antiseptic and deodorizing treatment, etc., of soil and having excellent usability by mixing a wood vinegar with a crust component of crustaceans such as crab and shrimp.
CONSTITUTION: The objective plant growth promoting agent is produced by mixing a crust component of crustaceans such as crab and shrimp to wood vinegar produced by cooling gas generated in charcoal making and containing acetic acid and methyl alcohol as main components. The agent develops the effect within a short time compared with conventional method comprising the single application of wood vinegar, has excellent insect-proofing, antiseptic and deodorizing effects and is capable of most effectively producing the environment necessary for the growth of plant. The agent is effective in controlling the blight and vermin of a plant, decreasing the mold in soil and contrary increasing bacteria necessary for the growth of plant to make a soil necessary for the growth of plant, preventing the generation of foul smell during the ripening of organic fertilizers and promoting the proliferation of organic microorganisms.
