This plant operation assisting device comprises a fuzzy rule database 13 setting a rule for comprehensively assessing importance on the basis of a plurality of measured values, a plant data input I/F11 inputting measured values of appliances 41, 42, 43 constituting a plant, an importance determining part 12 for comprehensively assessing the importance of an alarm by the rule of the fuzzy rule database 13 on the basis of the plurality of measured values relating to the alarm among the measured values input from the platen data input I/F11 when the alarm is generated, and an alarm display part 14 for displaying the plurality of alarms simultaneously generated, with a result of comprehensive assessment of importance by the importance determining part 12.
