To inhibit plant sterol from precipitating in food oil.

At least one of emulsifier selected from the group consisting of sucrose fatty acid esters, glycerol fatty acid esters, sorbitol fatty acid esters and propylene glycol fatty acid esters each of which has the HLB value of ≤6 is formulated to the food oil in an amount of 0.0001-5 mass pts. per 1 mass pt. of the plant sterol in the free form.
