Title:
PLANT-STYLE ELECTRIC CORD COVER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000228814
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To make an offensive electric cord in sight nice to look at by a method wherein holes are made at equal intervals, an adhesive double coated tape is pasted on the inner side of a tube in which a tearing part is formed on the opposite side and root parts of artificial flower leaves are inserted into the holes.

Holes 4 which are made at equal intervals in a tube 2 are used so that root parts 7 of artificial flower leaves 6 are inserted. In addition, an adhesive double coated tape 3 is pasted on the innser side of the tube 2 on the opposite side of the holes 4 so as to cover an electric cord 1. Then, the adhesive double coated tape 3 is arranged so as to vacate only peripheral parts of the holes 4. This is intended so that the root parts 7 of the artificial flower leaves 6 do not interfere with the adhesive double coated tape 3 when the root parts are inserted into the holes 4. In addition, the root parts 7 of the artificial flower leaves 6 are made a little larger than the holes 4 in the tube 2 so as to prevent them from falling. Since the tube 2 itself is flexible, the artificial flower leaves 6 do not fall even when the root parts 7 are inserted by expanding the holes 4. As a result, the electric cord which is offensive in sight and which is to be hidden becomes a plant style so as to become nice to look at.
