Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective method for planting a plant on flooding slope of dam lake having large variation of water level. SOLUTION: Seedlings of naturally grown or locally grown plant (e.g. a plant of the family Salicaceae or Equisetaceae or a plant of the genus phragmites) capable of withstanding water immersion for several months are planted on flooding slope 3 so as to enable growth or life support even under drying conditions for several months or longer term by water supply utilizing highly water-absorbing and highly water-retaining material (e.g. polypropylene- based spun-bonded nonwoven fabric) (specifically, by a method absorbing and retaining rain water, ground water or pound water into a highly water-absorbing and highly water retaining material and supplying the absorbed and retained water to plants).
