PURPOSE: To produce a planting pot having a simple structure in which water and air which are essential to growth of a plant are simultaneously supplied over a long period without applying energy from the outside, e.g. electricity thereto.

CONSTITUTION: This planting pot is constituted as follows. (1) Legs 6 in the lower part of the planting pot 5 are formed so as to be high and be highly split. (2) Air ports 1 are provided in the circumference of the bottom of the planting pot 5. (3) A cylindrical biscuit member is provided downward in protruded state in the center in the lower part of the planting pot 5. The planting pot 5 having this structure is put in a water dish 4 and water is supplied in such an amount that top positions of air introducing cut parts 7 of highly split legs 6 are not immersed by water. Water is absorbed through a biscuit material and air is absorbed through the air introducing cut parts 7 of the highly split legs 6 and the air ports 1 of the bottom of the planting pot 5.
