A palsma display panel is composed of the following components; the first substrate that is positioned with a given space separated in a column direction orthogonal to a row direction of a barrier wall in which a straight portion extending to a row direction and an oblique portion crossing obliquely to the straight portion are formed alternately, the second substrate that is positioned in opposing to the first substrate, and in which a display electrode forming a discharge in each light emission region arranged to the column direction divided by the straight portion of the barrier wall is formed. A region for non-light emission and light emission positioned in the column direction divided by the oblique portion, is prepared alternately in the row direction.
