To improve the heat radiation of a plasma display.
This plasma display includes a circuit board that is arranged on the back side of a PDP (plasma display panel) and is electrically connected to the plasma display panel, a chassis member 4 that is arranged between the PDP and the circuit board and supports the PDP, an exhaust pipe 5 that is arranged outside the outer edge of the chassis member 4 and has a plurality of exhaust holes 5b and 5c in the opposite direction to the chassis member 4, and a cooling fan. The chassis member 4 has a hollow space in it, the hollow space defines a plurality of spaces (ventilation passages) 4b divided by a plurality of partitions 4a, and the plurality of spaces 4b are connected to the exhaust pipe 5. When the cooling fan is operated, air is forcibly sent into the plurality of spaces 4b, and the air is exhausted from exhaust holes 5b and 5c formed in the exhaust pipe 5.
