Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma generating device for efficiently generating plasma.SOLUTION: A plasma generating device 10 for generating plasma between a pair of electrodes in liquid 21 has a cylindrical first electrode 100 which is one of the pair of electrodes and has a hollow portion 101, an insulator 120 which is disposed to surround the first electrode 100 and forms a gap 121 between the insulator 120 and the first electrode 100, and a second electrode 110 which is the other electrode of the pair of the electrodes and disposed in an external space in which the liquid 21 is reserved. The insulator 120 has an opening portion 122 through which the external space and the gap 121 intercommunicates with each other. The plasma generating device 10 further has a gas supplier 130 for supplying gas into the hollow portion 101 to discharge gas into the liquid 21 through the gap 121 and the opening portion 122.
