Abstract:
To prevent the expansion of damage in a cathode side plasma torch and an anode side plasma torch by automatically detecting abnormality in a plasma arc and automatically stopping heating operation upon generating abnormality in the plasma arc.
The twin torch system plasma heating system, heating an object to be heated by irradiation with plasma arc from the cathode side plasma torch and the anode side plasma torch, is equipped with an abnormality judging apparatus for judging the abnormality of the plasma arc by monitoring respective arc voltages of the cathode side plasma torch and the anode side plasma torch.
