Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a plasma torch from being attached defectively by providing an elastic member for supporting the torch holding part in a torch holding part and thereby making it freely movable in the direction where the axial lines of the two are matched with the torch attaching part.
SOLUTION: The torch holding part 57 of a torch holder 50 is supported by a lower spring bracket 54 fixed to an elevation shaft 51 through the spring 55; therefore, the torch holding part 57 can be inclined to an axial line CT3 passing through the elevation shaft 51. Whether the axial line CT2 of the attached plasma torch is inclined or shifted in parallel to the axial line CT3 of the holder 50, as the lower part of the plasma torch 1 is inserted into and engaged with the torch holding part 57, it is inclined or moved with the axial line CT2 as a center. Thus, the plasma torch 1 is prevented from being defectively attached to the torch 57 and simultaneously, is smoothly inserted into the torch attaching part since a tapered nozzle part 3 of the plasma torch 1 is acted as a guide.
