Abstract:
To provide a plasmonic material search method and a plasmonic material search device capable of efficiently searching a plasmonic material in a material using a nonconductive material as a mother material.SOLUTION: A plasmonic material search method calculates electromagnetic wave absorption in virtually doping a carrier into a nonconductive material of a first nonconductive material group, generates a prediction model by using information of the nonconductive material of the first nonconductive material group and the electromagnetic wave absorption in virtually doping the carrier into a calculated nonconductive material of the first nonconductive material group, predicts the electromagnetic wave absorption in virtually doping the carrier into a nonconductive material of a second nonconductive material group on the basis of the prediction model, selects a nonconductive material below a threshold preset by the predicted electromagnetic wave absorption in the nonconductive material of the second nonconductive material group as a candidate material, calculates electromagnetic wave absorption in virtually doping the carrier into the candidate material by using a hybrid functional, and selects a nonconductive material with the calculated electromagnetic wave absorption being blow the threshold in the candidate material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
