PURPOSE: To improve the mechanical strength of boat by making the bottom of cockpit formed in the deck member of match with that portion in the boat then adhering both of the integrally.
CONSTITUTION: Deck member 2 is provided along the upper face of hull 1 constructing the bottom trunk of boat while covering the hull 1, and the cockpit 5 is surrounded by said deck 2, where the edge 11 of hull 1 and the joint 12 of deck member 2 are jointed to coincide while the jointing face 15 of the deck member 2 is contacted tightly to the jointing face 10 of the outer case 14b at the center of cockpit 5, and an adhesive 17 is filled at the bottom face 13 of cockpit 5 and the bottom face 6 of hull 1. When integrating the cockpit 5 and the hull 1, the rigidity of bost can be increased without increasing the weight of boat.
