To provide a plastic container deformation apparatus and a method capable of forming the bottom of a plastic container into an ejected convex shape easily.

A plastic bottle deformation apparatus 100 to deform the bottom of a plastic bottle 200 in an ejected convex shape has a connecting nozzle 102 in which a penetration hole 103 is formed and which is arranged at the mouth of the plastic bottle 200 so that the penetration hole 103 forms a closed space continuous to the inside of the plastic bottle 200 and a cylinder 104 and a piston 106 by which a gas and/or a liquid are delivered into the inside of the plastic bottle through the penetration hole 103 formed in the connecting nozzle 102 and pressurizes the inside of the plastic bottle 200 by the gas and/or the liquid.
