Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a plastic granulator using a damper without producing impact force when a cutter and a die plate are brought into contact with each other in their advance without largely modifying a conventional granulator.
SOLUTION: This plastic granulator comprises a receiving plate 23 disposed on an exterior of a housing cover 17 provided at an end of a rear extended portion of a housing 12, a tie-bar 20 for connecting the receiving plate 23 with a bearing box cover 16 and a damper 24 provided between the receiving plate 23 and the housing cover 17, whereby the propelent force of a cutter shaft 5 is damped from the time when a cutter 2 provided at a tip of the cutter shaft 5 approaches a predetermined distance to a die plate 1.
