Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a plastic imitation wood free from the resin shrinkage of the resin coat provided on a tubular body.
CONSTITUTION: A resin coat 3 having a bark-like irregular pattern thereon and covering the surface of a tubular body 2 has an annular reinforcing rib 3x formed on the inner peripheral surface, close to each end thereof, so as to engage with the entire circumference of the corresponding end of the tubular body 2. Because this construction controls the resin shrinkage, the tubular body 2 and the resin coat 3 will remain fixed in position relative to each other after the molding of a plastic imitation wood 1.
