Abstract:
To provide a technology capable of suppressing a decrease in durability of a rotor and a barrel in a plasticizing apparatus with the rotor and the barrel.SOLUTION: The plasticizing apparatus includes a drive motor, a rotor rotated about a rotation axis by the drive motor and having a groove-forming surface on which a groove is formed, a barrel having a facing surface facing the groove-forming surface and provided with a communication hole through which a thermoplastic material flows in, a housing portion for housing the rotor, a first regulation portion fixed to the rotor and having a first contact surface facing a barrel side, and a second regulation portion fixed to the housing portion, facing the first contact surface and having a second contact surface that can contact the first contact surface. The movement of the rotor along the rotation axis is regulated by the first regulation portion and the second regulation portion, and the groove-forming surface is separated from the facing surface at a predetermined interval in a state in which the first contact surface and the second contact surface are in contact with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
