Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate feeding direction converting device of a strip form member which can reduce the variation of the floating-up amount of the strip form member from the surface of a floater, even though it is a noncontact type of plate feeding direction converting device furnishing plural number of floaters.
SOLUTION: Two floaters 1A and 1B are provided continuously, and a first bridle roll 2 are provided between the two floaters 1A and 1B. Different bridle rolls 3 and 4 are provided at the input side of the entry side floater 1A and the delivery side of the output side floater 1B respectively. A controller 10 makes the first bridle rolls 2 as a speed control master to control a plate feeding speed of a steel strip 5, and makes a entry side bridle roll 3 and the delivery side bridle rolls 4 as the tensile force control masters to give the tensile forces to the parts of the steel strip 5 wound on the floaters 1A and 1B, so as to carry out a control.
