To obtain a plate making on an ink-jet printing machine which solves various problems of the conventional ink-jet plate manufacturing by performing a little reconstruction of a commercially available lithographic press and a method for printing.

A lithographic press provided with a printing part consisting of a plate cylinder 1, a blanket cylinder 2 and an impression cylinder 3 is used and an ink is jetted on a substrate 4 fixed AI on a substrate automatically feeding part 10 on the lithographic press or the substrate fixed AII on the plate cylinder 1 from an ink-jet device arranged in the neighborhood to form an ink image and then, printing is performed by a method wherein a damping water feeding roller and a printing ink feeding roller are worked and the blanket cylinder and the impression cylinder are brought into contact with each other and are rotated and a printing paper is fed.
