Title:
PLATE POSITIONING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3264363
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely position a plate even when spatters or burrs are adhered to a clamping equipment and a roller shear equipment by mounting a detection sensor for detecting the plate width end on a reciprocating means close to each lower surface of a rear end part of a preceding coil and a forward end part of a succeeding coil.
SOLUTION: A clamp 23 clamps a preceding coil 21. A cutting equipment 25 is reciprocated in the direction across the coil. A detection sensor 20 detects the plate width end on each side of a preceding coil 21 and succeeding coil in the middle of reciprocation. The cutting equipment 25 is moved to the center of the preceding coil and the succeeding coil and cuts the coil. The detection sensor 21 is arranged opposite to a lower side of an L-shaped part on which the coil 21 is clamped. The plate width end can be correctly detected irrespective of detection of the plate width end even when spatters in welding or burrs in cutting are adhered to a side of the clamp equipment 23.
