Abstract:

PURPOSE: To surely bring a cam follower into contact with a cam surface without taking into consideration the thickness of a plate.

CONSTITUTION: The clearance X is provided between a cylinder bore 3a and a double headed piston 6. A leaf spring 27 to energize shoes 23, 24 against cam surfaces 20A, 20B side is provided through a double headed piston 6. The clearance between the shoes 23, 24 and the cam followers 20A, 20B is automatically corrected even when the thickness of cam surfaces 20a, 20b is not uniform over the whole circumference of a wave cam 20, and the slidable flat surfaces 23b, 24b can be brought into constant contact with the cam surfaces 20A, 20B.
