Abstract:
To provide a plated composite thermoplastic resin molding which has an excellent appearance and is excellent in plating film adhesion and thermal cycle resistance.
In the plated composite thermoplastic resin molding, plating is applied on the surface of an injection-molded article of a molding material incorporated with a thermoplastic resin and an inorganic filler. The injection-molded article is obtained by a heat cycle method in which the molding material is injected while the surface temperature of a mold is elevated at the heat distortion temperature of the thermoplastic resin or above, the surface of the mold is cooled after the end of the injection, and the molding is taken out.
