Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an electroless plating coating excellent in adhesion between a fiber and a metal coating without deterioration of the strength of a polymer fiber material.SOLUTION: A production method of a plated fiber comprises graft-polymerizing a nitrogen-containing monomer to an organic polymer fiber by an electron beam irradiation treatment, immersing the organic polymer fiber in a Pd/Sn colloidal solution to make the Pd/Sn catalyst adhered to the organic polymer fiber, conducting an activation treatment by reducing the Pd/Sn catalyst adhered to the surface of organic polymer fiber, immersing the organic polymer fiber in a plating solution to conduct an electroless plating treatment so as to form a metal plating layer, in order to form an electroless plating coating excellent in adhesion between the fiber and the metal.
