Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the plating pretretment method capable of easily making treatment and forming a plating layer having excellent adhesion to the surface of a titanium material.
CONSTITUTION: The titanium material 3 is immersed into an aq. soln. contg. a fluoride, carboxylic acid or carboxylate and potassium ions and has pH in a 3.5 to 7.0 range, by which micropits 1 and a film for preventing the oxidation of the surface of the titanium material 3 and vanishing in a plating liquid are formed.
