Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:Compounds of formula I [R is cycloalkyl; R1 is H or lower alkylcarbonyl; X is halogen or group having structure of formula II formed by combination of two X; Y is Cl, OH or formula III (R2 is H, lower alkyl or lower alkylamino)].
EXAMPLE: Cyclopentyl 3,4-diamino-3,4-dideoxy-L-xylopyranoside.
USE: An anti-neoplastic agent.
PREPARATION: A platinum complex of formula IV is used as a raw material and suspended in water. To the resultant suspension, 30wt.% aqueous hydrogen peroxide solution is added in an amount of 10-100 time mol and the resultant mixture is stirred while shielding the light at 0-70°C for 30min-6hr.
