PURPOSE: To stably execute the screwing operation of a lens barrel for a focusing action, to obtain the excellent feeling of use, to facilitate adjustment work at an assembling time and to execute the precise focusing action without depending on visual sense at a using time.
CONSTITUTION: This device is constituted so that the lens barrel 20 holding an optical lens 2 is screwed in a lens barrel 50 and screwed further by adding rotational force and the optical lens 2 is focused on a CCD 5 in the lens barrel 50. Besides, an operation barrel 6 is externally engaged with the lens barrel 20 by restricting the relative rotation thereof coaxially and the lens barrel 20 is screwed by the rotating operation of the barrel 6. Then, rotational resistance generated by friction between a friction ring 7 integrated with the barrel 6 and the circumferential edge of an attachment hole 10 is imparted to the barrel 6 so as to operate the barrel 6 under the stable rotational resistance. Besides, an engagement projection 72 projectingly provided at one part of the ring 7 is engaged in an engagement groove 11 provided on the circumference of the hole 10. Then, when the projection 72 gets on a projection part provided at one part of the groove 11, the rotational resistance of the barrel 6 is increased at a prescribed rotating position.
