Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide pleat-forming fabric that can readily form pleats of high durability by heat setting even in the case that the fiber having poor heat resistance, for example, silk fiber and the like is used.
SOLUTION: As one of the warp or the weft constituting the fabric, a yarn including poly lactic acid fiber is used, while a yarn including no poly lactic acid fiber is used as the other weft or warp. The pleats are formed in the rectangular direction to the yarn including the poly lactic acid fiber in at least a part of the fabric.
