To provide a fiber product which is pleated in various ways by using a simple apparatus, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same.

This pleated fiber product is obtained by subjecting filaments having a thickness of 0.001-300 μm per one filament to pleating processing at a weight of 5-400 g/m². In addition, the pleated fiber product is obtained by stacking one or more fiber cloth selected from a woven fabric, a knitted fabric and a nonwoven fabric and filaments having a thickness of 0.001-300 μm per one filament at a weight of 5-400 g/m², and subjecting the resultant product to pleating processing.
