Abstract:
To obtain a plied cord or organic fibers remarkably improved in strength retention before and after the twisting of the high-elastic modulus organic fibers.
This plied core 1 has two or more organic fiber raw yarn bundles 2 and 3. At least one of the raw yarn bundles 2 and 3 comprises high- elastic modulus fibers having ≥400gf/D elastic modulus. The high-elastic modulus fibers have ≤5 average number of kink bands based on 1cm length for one fiber.
