Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug for electrical connection in which the structure of the dies for molding a housing can be simplified and furthermore it is possible to confirm visually that the plug is fitted correctly when it is directly fitted to the panel.
SOLUTION: This is the plug for electrical connection which has a plug housing provided with a shroud and a header surrounded by the shroud. An elastic locking member formed on the outer wall of the header is demarcated by a U-shape groove and a level difference part opened toward front is formed at the tip. A pair of first flanges are arranged on the side wall of the shroud in axial symmetry with a prescribed distance separated at both wings of the side wall, and a second flange which has the same length as or a shorter length than the prescribed distance dimension of the above pair of first flanges is arranged between the pair of first flanges capable of plan-viewing, and the plug is held by these flanges to the panel.
